Overview

Saddle is a cycling companion app. It pairs with Wahoo fitness sensors over Bluetooth Low Energy, captures speed and cadence in real time and turns them into ride metrics that riders can follow at a glance.

What I built

  1. 01Built the BLE connection layer for scanning, pairing and staying connected to Wahoo speed and cadence sensors.
  2. 02Parsed the raw sensor characteristics into live speed, cadence and trip metrics.
  3. 03Built the trip dashboard, sensor management and onboarding flows.
  4. 04Handled the differences in Bluetooth permissions and background behaviour between iOS and Android.
